Korede Bello’s Course Mates Threw Him A Surprise Birthday Party In School (Photos)

Mavin records singer, Korede Bello was celebrated in his school on Monday, March 7th in the premises of the school, Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Ogba, Lagos.
The self acclaimed mega superstar who clocked 20 on February 29 was given a surprise by his classmates as they hosted him to a surprise birthday party.
The Godwin singer who was so happy about the treat, shared photos from it on his Instagram timeline.
He captioned it: “So I was in school today and my classmates threw me a surprise birthday celebration. OOOOSHEEEEYYYYYYY. Thanks ma people #NIJites #NIJ”
It can be recalled that Korede matriculated at the NIJ on November 9, 2015 to obtain his higher national diploma (HND) and was initially reported to be missing classes which made some of his lecturers threaten him of not going to graduate.

Governor Okorocha “Attacked” By Biafran Supporter At Chatham House In London (Photos)

The Executive Governor of Imo State, Chief Dr Owelle Rochas Okorocha who was a guest speaker today at the famous Chatham House , the Royal Institute of International Affairs, an independent policy Institute, London -was “attacked” today by a pro-Biafran supporter while delivering a speech.
During a speech delivered by the governor on the topic; “Nigerians’ Human Capital and State Education Initiative: The View From IMO State”, a supporter of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) who was armed with a Biafran flag came to the podium agitating that no one is doing anything about the plight of Biafrans in Nigeria ….
The IPOB member was immediately rushed by other participants at the event as they clashed with him while trying to push him out of the hall..The Biafran supporter was finally dragged out of the event.

Woman And Her 6 Months Old Baby Among The 18 People Killed In Lagos Building Collapse

18 persons including a woman and her 6 months old baby have been confirmed dead in the 5- storey building collapse that happened at Chisco bus stop, opposite Oando Gas Station in the Lekki area of Lagos yesterday March 8th.

According to the National Emergency Management Agency NEMA, 13 people have been rescued alive.
