Airtel Free Browsing Basic Internet As Facebook Partners With Them Is Now In Nigeria

I recognise you're amazed and questioning if that is virtually authentic. Well, it's miles 100% real because it has been completed in a few different nations. Now it's Nigerian time to revel in free internet courtesy of Facebook.

This awesome innovation is welcomed in Nigeria in particular in this time of total economic meltdown if simplest our authorities won't tamper with it as Egyptian authorities did when Facebook delivered this service in Egypt . While the same offer came to India, the Indian authorities snubbed it. Now my query is, will Nigerian government additionally block this brilliant improvement later in the future? Best time will tell.

Mark Zuckerberg who's the founder of Facebook took to his web page the day before today to announce free basic net in Nigeria. In his phrases,

“Today we’re partnering with Airtel Africa to launch Internet.org Free Basics in Nigeria.
There's a lot of innovation across Africa right now, and Nigeria in particular is home to a lot of talented developers.

Free basics offers Nigerians, consisting of 90 million folks that are presently offline, the possibility to get right of entry to news, fitness records and offerings like jobberman that have been constructed by way of Nigerians and other builders throughout West Africa -- all while not having to pay for records.
Free basics is now live in extra than 40 countries, and half of those are in Africa."

This means Nigerians can browse the net free of fee with their Airtel sim card.

However, the browsing experience isn't that best after I examined it a few hours in the past. The check fine is poor and in maximum times, snap shots would not load at the same time as browsing with the free simple internet access. It browses exactly as the call suggests. It's far a simple browsing stuff so it can serve better each time you don't have information at all to browse.

HOW DO I START USING FREE BASIC INTERNET FROM AIRTEL?
simply visit freebasics.com with your Airtel line.

Enjoy guy's.

New MTN Pulse MidNight Data Plan Of 500MB For Just N25

MTN are still rolling out cheap data plans from one data plan to the other. Yesterday MTN just introduced a new night data plan that is sure to save some of us on tight situations like updating of apps and downloading latest episodes of our favorite series.

This new Night data plan, costs only N25 and it is valid from 12am midnight to 4 am each night, according to MTN. This plan is capped at 500MB per activation. But considering it is just N25 airtime, it is a bargain. It is not a plan that will be used or activated often but only when the need arises. It is very cheap for that data allocated to it.
HOW DO I SUBSCRIBE THE MTN MIDNIGHT PLAN OF N25 ON MY SIM?
=> Your MTN line must be on the MTN Pulse tariff plan, but if you are not sure of the plan you are already on, simply dial *123# to confirm which plan you are on or just dial *406# to migrate to MTN Pulse plan.

=> Make sure you have at least N30 airtime in your balance

=> Send Night to 131 via text message

=> You will receive an activation message that goes like this...

=> Now you are all set to brows and download from 12 am, to 4am in the night with the 500MB.

The data is small but with just N25, its big ooh
