WE learned that the suspect, arrested and taken to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, began to act sickly and unable to stand without support before he collapsed, yesterday.
He was allegedly taken to Falomo General Hospital, Ikoyi for treatment. Jafar was alleged to have slit the throat of his wife, Roselyn Solugie, at No 8 Araromi Street, Oshodi, Lagos.
It was gathered that the corpse of Roselyn, who sold frozen foods at Ijora, was found early Friday.
Accusing the husband of murdering their daughter, the family of the deceased vowed to seek justice.
Denying the allegation, the brother of the suspect said Jafar was attacked by the same people who murdered his wife.
