party has been enmeshed in series of crises in the last few weeks emanating from the several court cases, factional leadership of the party and the resultant parallel conventions held in Abuja and Port Harcourt on Saturday, May 21st, 2016.
In a letter he sent to all PDP Reps Members yesterday, he stated, “As Honourable Members on the platform of the party in the Green Chamber, we should not be seen taking sides in the disputes currently rocking our great party.”
He urged all parties concerned in the crises on the need to maintain status quo in the interest of the party and the nation at large. “It is my humble view and candid opinion that we should be guided by law to maintain status quo pending the final determination of the suits in Courts in the interest of our party and the nation.”
“As a party, we need to be united so we can be a formidable and viable opposition to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) whose “CHANGE” mantra has become “CHAIN”.” he stressed.
